Lunar Crystal Observatory

This is my submission for the Rising Star 2019 3D Environment Art Challenge.

This diorama fulfils each requirement of the challenge, such as only four objects, a fully fleshed out workflow (involving Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 4)

Story:

Atop an ancient spire of an even older fortress, an altar to the moonlit heavens is found. With such potential, it only takes someone with the ingenuity to put this power to good use!

While I had grand intentions for this diorama, I had to temper my expectations due to unforeseen circumstances heavily reducing the time I had to work on this project. I am still confident in it's ability to represent a scene that could be implemented into a large whole, while still standing on it's own.
